My Mom....

I've had a very difficult time bringing myself to create this post! How do you post pictures of your mother after she suddenly passes away? I have gone back and forth with whether of not I truly had the inner strength to put something together that would appropriately show my love for her. Since I'm currently living in "2" places, I don't have access to all my pictures! I was able to find these and I hope that by looking at the few I've posted, you will see how beautiful and wonderful she really was. I'm so thankful that I was able to talk to my mom just a few days before she died. Since moving to Las Vegas, my parents became very concerned about me and on Thursday evening, she called me just to "check" in, making sure I was doing okay! Over the years, I learned not to lie to my mom because she always saw right through me, so I shared with her the "truth" of how I was doing. As you probably guessed, it had been a really hard day. That night she said several things to me(that she had said 100 times before)but one thing stood out to me. She said "Chris, remember what the Lord said; "I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it". That night I related this to our move, my job, etc. Now, I relate it to loosing her so suddenly! I miss you mom very much! It's not easy, it's the hardest thing I've ever dealt with, but I know it will be worth it because you are now in paradise and we will be together again.

Those are all really good pictures of mom. I wish I had talked to mom that week. I talked to her the Friday before when she was in Boise. I miss her so much I can't stand it! It still hurts so much. Love you!
